Good evening,

today we switched on a new transponder from 70cm to 13cm. Uplink-Center is 432.650MHz, Downlink-Center ist
2320.640, Bandwith is +-25KHz. The Center-Beacon is at 2320.641MHz, output is 10 Watts, Antenna is Slotted
about 130m above ground and 350m asl. Callsign is DB0JO and co-located with the well known beacons at the
TV-Tower Schwerte4 in JO31SL.
I would be really happy to find spots at the DXC or via e-mail to df1vb@gmx.de or better a qso via the txpdr.

vy 73, we'll meet at Heelweg, Jochen df1vb

Hi there,

today i did some improvements regarding the sensitivity of the transponder uplink. I installed
a 3 cavity bandpass filter and a MGF1302 preamplifier. This is a good step foreward, next step
now will be the change of the 0db rx antenna (vertical) into an horizontally polarized antenna
with a bit more gain....

Hello Jochen,
The transponder works very fine. Beacon signal on 13 cm is very strong (1.8 Mtr dish) in JO33FB. I am can copy my 70 cm Horizontal polarised signal (~50 W@24 el). Hopefully more microwave bands will be added in the future!
