Titel: Status 13 & 9 cM bands in Sweden
Bericht door: Eene de Weerd PA3CEG op April 05, 2014, 09:25:28
We recently had a meeting with PTS where status of amateur bands in Sweden was discussed. In particular 13 & 9cm.

As can be seen on the PTS home page, the 13cm band is still out for auction (http://www.pts.se/sv/Bransch/Radio/Auktioner/). As long as the band/block is not sold, PTS will continue to issue temporary permits of max 6 months. No indication was given for how long this situation may exist.

For the 9cm band, it is the same situation as for 13cm. However, as no auction is made public, the situation with temporary licenses will most likely last longer than for 13cm. No indication was given for when the auction or allocation will happen.

You find a frequency document on the new SSA webpage (move is on-going from the old one…) http://www.ssa.se/dev/vhfuhfshf/ . This document contains more details for those interested. Updates from previous document revision is mainly made on 70, 432, 2320 and 3400 MHz.
